Bring Home A WG.com Teddy Bear!!EXCLUSIVE WILLIAM GIRDLER.COM COLLECTIBLE TEDDY BEAR
Now you can bring a piece of this unique website into you very own home AND support the William Girdler.com at the same time. For $10.00 (including shipping), you can get yourself this adorable bear, accompanied by two pieces of original packaging inspired by the website.

Bring Home A WG.com Teddy Bear!!On the front, you receive a lovely custom painting that combines three different site themes: bear wrestling, killer bears, and fried chicken. I call it: Day of the Kentucky Fried Grizzly.

Inside, you'll find a painfully cute stuffed teddy bear holding a matted animated cel-styled cartoon of a grizzly chowing down on a chicken leg. Again, both pieces of artwork were produced EXCLUSIVELY for this website.

I think this product is a thousand times cooler than trying to hawk mousepads or mugs to support the website. It's original, fun, and just plain spiffy. So show your support and bring home a WG.com Teddy Bear Today!!!! (Note: you can also purchase a bear using your Amazon.com account. CLICK HERE to learn how.)

(Note: This is NOT an official movie item. This is related to the site ONLY.)

Satan-a-thon Shirts!!SATAN-A-THON GEAR!
On October 19th, 2002, a massive Girdler celebration was had in Louisville, Kentucky. A nearly sold-out crowd attended a double screening of some Girdler films, with Abby herself in attendance (Carol Speed). It was a wildly fun night no one will soon forget.

If you missed the celebration, you can still own a piece of the magic by grabbing a Satan-a-thon t-shirt for $25. The front of the shirt features a great shot of Abby. The back lists the special guests (Carol, Claude Wayne Fulkerson, and, a-hem, Patty Breen) and the way-cool sponsors.

It's a high-quality item from a once-in-a-lifetime event. These shirts were flying out the door at the show. BUY ONE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

Bring Home A WG.com Devil Doll!!WG.com also got into the Satan-a-thon spirit in Louisville by offering a super limited edition DEVIL DOLL. Only 15 pieces were made, and there are two left.

The box front features Asylum of Satan-inspired artwork exclusive to this website. The little devils each wear a hand-sewn straight-jacket. The event is listed on the inside box cover. These little cuties are now $25 each, and there won't be any more made. To purchase a devil doll, E-MAIL ME!

(Like the bears, these are not official movie items, but they sure are adorable.)

Fangoria Girdler Article!!FANGORIA ISSUES #216 AND #217
In September and October of 2002, Fangoria ran a lengthy two-part article on Girdler penned my myself and David Konow. It's the largest article on Girdler to date (the biggest thing you can read without staring at a computer monitor), and it's dripping with interviews and rare photos. Both issues are loaded with material you cannot find on the website.

New interviews include Austin Stoker, Avis Girdler, Madelyn Buzzard, Jon Cedar, Lynne Kelly, and more. Highly recommended by the webmistress!

These issues can be purchased online via the Fangoria website. To buy Part One, CLICK HERE. Part Two is available HERE.

The following Girdler-related books are available at Amazon.com. I used many of these books as reference while researching the films of William Girdler. Some titles I include here just because I like them a lot. A percentage of each Amazon sale goes to this website.

The Manitou: The basis for Girdler's last film. Pick up a copy of Graham Masterton's horror sensation that's as good now as it was in 1976.
The Satanic Screen: An Illustrated Guide To The Devil In Cinema: Nikolas Schreck's exhaustive study of cinematic Satanism makes for a real page turner. Lushly illustrated and well-written, it's the best work I've read on the subject. Also features information about Asylum of Satan and Abby.
What It Is... What It Was!; The Black Film Explosion of the '70s in Words and Pictures: THE definitive book on the blaxploitation genre. Great interviews, incredible posters, and heaps of insight. Featuring interviews with William Marshall, Pam Grier, Arthur Marks, and Carol Speed. A MUST READ!!.
That's Blaxploitation : Roots of the Baadasssss 'Tude: Not quite as tight as What It Is but still a worthwhile read if you love Black cast flicks of the 70s. Includes a cute review of Abby, and a very accurate analysis of The Mack.
Toms, Coons, Mulattoes, Mammies, and Bucks : An Interpretive History of Blacks in American Films: Describes and dissects the history of Blacks in American cinema, with brief mentions of some Girdler films. This book reflects a more socially conservative, politically correct opinion of the blaxploitation genre.
The Psychotronic Video Guide to Film: The Psychotronic Video Guide should rest on every b-movie maniac's bookshelf. This edition also contains a pressbook clipping from Abby.
SCHLOCK-O-RAMA: The Films of Al Adamson: If you like (or loathe) Girdler, you will probably feel the same way about Al Adamson. One of the most enjoyable B-Movie books I've read in the past two years.
A Taste Of Blood: The Films of Herschell Gordon Lewis: Herschell Gordon Lewis was retreating from filmmaking just as Girdler's star was on the rise. Of course, Pat Patterson (HGL's gore FX master) worked on several early Girdler efforts.
Horror Film Directors, 1931-1990: A rather pricey BIG book published in 1991 that contains a brief Girdler bio. The Girdler bio, though incomplete (it omits Project Kill from Gird's credits), was probably the most comprehensive article on Girdler ever published until this site came along.
